Method — Screening-level estimate
Per-capita demand with a declared drawdown window. NOT a hydraulic network, pressure or self-cleansing velocity design.
Every result below is produced by the same engineering engine that feeds the High-Rise reference project, so a quantity taken from this page and a quantity taken from the workflow cannot disagree.
Governing Formula
V_day = n x persons x demand Where:
-
n= Dwellings -
q= Per-capita demand [L/person/day]
Derived Equations:
V_store = max(minimum, V_day x drawdown/24) Q_sw = A x intensity / 10 000 D_outfall = ceil(d_from_Q) to standard Assumptions & Limitations
- Storage is a drawdown screen, not a balanced tank schedule with fire and irrigation draw.
- No pump duty/standby selection, no pressure vessel, no duty rotation.
- No soakaway, attenuation or SuDS design; rainfall is a single stated intensity.
